About Mary and Bright
Mary and Bright is a screwball holiday comedy in the spirit of the 1940s: fast-talking, chaotic, and full of heart.
It follows Mary, a Christmas romance author who can craft happy endings for everyone but herself, and Jonathan, a charming stage actor whose fake engagement with Mary quickly spirals into real feelings.
To make matters worse (more fun) the ensemble includes a nosey inn keep, a priest who seems a lot like Santa Claus, a traveling toy salesman, a hard nosed Life reporter and the curmudgeonly Chair of the Ladies Victorian Socety.
Mary and Bright is a quick witted romp through a pretty crazy storyline and that’s just how I want it!
